Underground Detectable Warning Tape

1. Specifications This tape consists of a minimum 5.0 mil overall thickness, with a 0.35 mil (0.00035”) solid aluminum foil core. Construction is 0.8 mil clear film, reverse print laminated to an aluminum foil to 3.75 MIL clear film, making the film permanently printed and plowable. This tape meets or exceeds the industry standards including the American Public Works Association (APWA) color code.

Burial Depths Maximum Detectable Burial range is as follows. Bear in mind the types of locators utilized have a direct input on depth.

Bury 2” Tape 6” to 12” deep.

Bury 3” Tape 12” to 24” deep.

Bury 6” Tape 22” to 30” deep.
